To help you determine if a virtual visit is right for you, we’ve listed some common questions (and answers) about virtual visits:

Q: What happens during a virtual visit?

A: During the virtual visit, we’ll ask you questions about your problem or project, get an inventory of your current home systems, and discuss the unique needs of your home. After your virtual visit, you’ll receive a free customized quote.*

Q: What kinds of services can be quoted with a virtual visit?

A: In general, any of our current services that do not require a detailed in-person diagnostic or troubleshooting to evaluate the problem, is not an urgent or emergency issue that requires immediate attention, and does not involve a comprehensive project consultation can be quoted with a virtual visit. Here are a few services that are perfect for a virtual visit:

  • Faucet and sink replacement or new installation
  • Tub, shower, and toilet replacement or new installation
  • Indoor/outdoor light fixture, outlet, and switch replacement or new installation
  • Ceiling fan replacement or new installation
  • Standby generator installation
  • Home surge protection installation
  • Indoor air quality addition to an existing system
  • Smart home product installation, including Google Nest products

Q: What do I need in order to join a virtual visit?

A: All you’ll need is a computer (with webcam and microphone) or mobile device and an Internet connection. When you schedule a virtual visit, we’ll email you with instructions on how to join your visit. All virtual visits are facilitated through Zoom or Google Meet web conferencing softwares.

Q: Do I need to be at home?

A: We always think it’s best to be at home during your visit, but in many cases it might not be necessary. Just let us know that you won’t be at home when scheduling your visit.

Q: What happens if I'm happy with my quote?

A: If you’d like to go with the work after receiving your quote, just give us a call to schedule your in-person service visit with one of our licensed technicians. We’ll even waive our $89 minimum service fee.**
