This race is in honor of Lydia Valdez, who was and is to this day, the inspiration for Lydia’s House of Hope.
Lydia’s House of Hope is a yearlong transitional living program for women and children who have experienced homelessness, poverty, domestic violence, substance misuse, and unimaginable traumas.
